Integrated Learning for 1st Graders
Traditional tools like books, basic white boards and counting blocks combined with cutting -edge technology can create varied learning environment that can meet the needs of all students. Having an interactive white board and incorporating videos and virtual field trips, which allows students to interact will engage students. As well as tablets and computers which can be used for individualized learning apps, educational games and research projects.
To evaluate the students are benefiting from technology in the classroom I'll be observing their interaction during lessons. To see signs of engagement or interest. Also testing for the comprehension and retention of information. Using feedback to from students and parents and maybe colleagues for insights. Lastly, data analysis to track progression and identifying strengths and weaknesses in lessons.
Listed below is a video that explains why digital technology should be used in classrooms.
